What is A1:8?

A1:8 is how we do missions at National Community Church.

Here at NCC, we believe that serving is at the heart of a transformed, Christ-centered life.

A1:8 is ordinary NCCers, empowered by God’s Spirit, doing what Jesus did, together, wherever they are.

Our Vision: On Mission Every Day

“For you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Acts 1:8

The goal of every follower of Christ is to live on mission every day, wherever you are. The deepest level of gospel transformation results in living out the mission of Jesus wherever we walk.

How We Engage Missionally

We are walking coordinates—on mission every day. Whenever. Wherever.

As a church working together, we will fulfill the call of Acts 1:8 through nine core causes we believe are central to our participation in God’s mission in the world.

There are 7 domains within every society.

From surgeons, to missionaries overseas, to full-time parents, we’re called to be people empowered by the spirit, doing what Jesus did, in every domain, in our neighborhoods, city, and around the world.
